Meals on Wheels

Eligibility

Must be 60 years of age and homebound
  No Income Requirement

Clients may request five meals or seven meals per week.  Meals come with an entrée, milk and dessert.  The meals are approved by a registered dietician and meet 1/3 of the recommended daily dietary allowance.

Meals on Wheels is much more than just a meal.  It is a daily/weekly human contact on which seniors who are homebound and alone much of the time may rely.  It is a sense of security knowing that someone will come, that someone cares.

Meals on Wheels is much more than just a meal.  It connects and links seniors to other services available to them in community.

Meals on Wheels customers are asked to make a suggested contribution of $3.50 per meal.  The actual cost per meal is over $6.00   Eligible customers will not be denied meals based on ability to contribute.
